We are Eco Dfndrs. We create, share and collaborate on ideas to get our message out. We don’t just say we care for our environment, we do more. We make films to open people’s eyes, start conversations and inspire action.
Astrid loves: writing, reading, roller skating and baking.
Cedar loves: 3-D sketching and listening to music, building lego, dirt biking and surfing.
Ella loves: acting, singing, writing songs, playing the ukulele, painting, drawing, and swimming.
Elora loves: coloring and her puppy named Bella.
Ember loves: playing piano and bass and classical painting.
Franny loves: writing, living a creative life and making positive change in the world.
Ganika loves: photography and helping the environment.
Gyana loves: writing, swimming and playing card games.
Indigo loves: reading, art, taking pictures and hiking.
Jolie loves: photography and helping with the bee population.
Kalena loves: music, photography, drawing, speaking out about climate change.
luthien loves: reading, baking, hiking and swimming in the ocean.
Mackenzie loves: theatre and the environment.
Marin loves: swimming at all the amazing beaches on Hornby Island where she lives, and meeting awesome people!
Miranda loves: horseback riding, volleyball, track, protecting salmon.
Nic loves: dirt biking, skiing and acting.
Noah loves: music and art.
Portia loves: listening to music, playing hockey and dirt biking.
Priya loves: writing, painting, sculpting and teaching martial arts.
Ray loves: playing video games, basketball, learning new things and meeting new friends.
Rebecca loves: acting, directing and saving the environment.
Rupert loves: music – writing it, playing it, recording it and sharing it – and making the world a better place.
Sienna loves: the water and to swim.
Sophie loves: playing guitar, painting, dancing, the ocean.
Taio loves: reading, spending time with friends, drawing, learning about the environment.
Tavin loves: to ski, swim, and mountain bike.
Tomio loves: editing, creating board games, listening to podcasts and being outside.
Zoe loves: making movies and short films of her and her friends and making the world a better place.

Each summer, environmental activists aged 12–15 are invited to join us for a one week all expenses paid Environmental Action Camp on Denman Island, BC. Spend a week creating compelling media – music, drama, documentary, and dance – all with a focus on defending the environment.
